The economy being what it is, many families are staying close to home this summer.

I’ve taken a few trips outside Lorain and would highly recommend.

We visited the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.

On Wednesdays they have demonstrations by a local chef.

Inside were incredible displays, plants, birds, butterflies and other animals.

And outside the gardens are beautiful…..

Make the time to explore.

I went this past Wednesday for a very relaxing cruise. We even saw our Coast Guard patroling.

I was impressed with the contrast of Nature and Industry.

Did you know there was an island in the Black River? It’s called Monkey Island.

I encourage everyone to experience a piece of Lorain very little have seen.

When you go to the Zoo have you ever thought ,
“Who’s looking at who?”

Reminds me of a family photo

There are farms nearby, I’m sure you’ve seen some as you drive around.

I wish I could have included the sound of this morning’s storm.

The Power and Beauty are incredible and it’s a treat to watch the boaters try to get in before it hits….
